Description:
In this winter day of shared practice, the twin rivers of Qigong and meditation come together as one living stream. Rooted in ancient contemplative traditions and informed by modern understanding of nervous system regulation, these practices support calm, vitality, and emotional balance. Through guided and silent meditation, gentle Qigong, mindful breathing, Dharma reflections, and periods of healing handpan music with Gary Muszynski of One World Music, we will explore how stillness nourishes movement, and movement clarifies awareness. Practiced together, meditation and Qigong become a single, integrated path toward ease, energy, and equanimity.

Held within the supportive embrace of Spirit Rock, this retreat offers a sanctuary to rest, reset, and reconnect with embodied presence. Whether joining onsite in the meditation hall or online from your own space, you’ll leave with practical tools and embodied understandings you can carry directly into daily life, supporting wellbeing, clarity, and ease in the midst of change. All abilities and levels of experience warmly welcome!

Accessibility & Trauma-Sensitive Practices Note:
This retreat is offered with a trauma-sensitive and accessibility-aware approach. All practices are invitational, and may be adapted or paused at any time. The practices offered emphasize accessibility, kindness toward the body, and respect for individual pacing. Options will be given for standing, seated, and supine practice, and you are encouraged to listen to and honor the wisdom of your body. You are always welcome to step out, rest, or engage in ways that feel most supportive.
