Description:
This hybrid retreat invites us into a direct experience of how body, heart, and mind can come into a more harmonious, responsive balance. Through QigongDharma, Dao Yin, and guided meditation, we will explore how regulating qi and breath can calm and nourish the nervous system, ease emotional reactivity, and clarify awareness.
The day will include gentle standing and seated Qigong, natural abdominal breathing, and accessible movement sequences designed to support safety, grounding, and ease. We will sense how energy and awareness flow through posture, movement, and stillness, and how this flow supports a calm body, clear heart, and radiant mind. Short Dharma reflections will offer simple frameworks for understanding nervous system states through the lens of mindfulness and qi, emphasizing lived, embodied experience rather than technical theory.
Participants will be invited to honor their own pace and capacity, with options for standing, sitting, and chair-based practice, and encouragement to rest or adjust as needed. The environment is intended to be welcoming, non‑judgmental, and trauma‑sensitive, supporting a felt sense of “enough safety” to explore and unwind patterns of tension and contraction. Together, we will discover practical ways to bring these teachings into daily life, so that the nervous system can become a trustworthy ally on the path of compassion and insight.
All practices will be offered with a trauma-sensitive spirit of care, emphasizing choice, pacing, and respect for individual capacity. Participants are welcome to adapt movements, rest, or remain seated at any time, supporting a sense of safety, dignity, and self-trust in practice.
