A BENEFIT FOR BLACK LIVES MATTER AND SPIRIT ROCK MEDITATION CENTER

Description:
In this retreat, we will weave together the soulful, inspired teachings of healing embodiment, truth, compassion and wisdom, with the powerful healing practices of metta and Radiant Heart Qigong.

It is important to release the negativity that can come with these troubled times and to renew our spirits with positive energy. Through the wise integration of loving awareness and embodiment practices, we will cultivate ways to respond compassionately to the challenges we face in ourselves and in the world.

We will (re)discover how awareness as embodied presence naturally develops and deepens through skillful practice, which in turn leads to clarity, insight and centering. Guided by the wisdom traditions of Qigong and lovingkindness practices, we will explore opening our hearts and nourishing our spirits together in supportive community.

Everyone is warmly welcomed to this accessible, restorative day retreat. For everyone working on the front lines—on the streets or at home with your family—this day is for you. For everyone working for universal justice, authentic peace and healing in our communities and in the world, this day is for you. Let’s join together, reconnect with ourselves and our deepest sources of wisdom, in order to better serve as sources of refuge in the world… truly for the well-being of all beings everywhere!
