Dharma as a Verb: Mindfulness Practices to Cultivate Joy and Equanimity Amidst the Waves of Change

Open to all self-identified women

Description:
Impermanence, annica, is one of the fundamental teachings of the dharma. All things arise and pass away. What if we allowed ourselves to ride this wave of transience with a sense of joy and liberation? A sense that we too are part of the constant motion. We are not fixed. Our relationships, our personalities, our stories are not fixed, although we may be conditioned to believe otherwise.

We’ll explore how the teachings are a living, dynamic aspect of our lives that help us understand and embody our own fluidity. Change is all around us, the ten thousand joys and sorrows. Can this be a doorway to embrace the dharma and our very lives as a verb?

Together, we will delve into the heart teachings of joy and equanimity, the role of the elements, and our connection to nature in order to celebrate our capacity to ride the waves of change.

All are welcome! No one will be turned away for lack of funds as space allows. For more information, please email Registration@spiritrock.org.

*Recording Note: You will have ~90 days from the original program date to view the program. If you would like access to the recording, you must register by the deadline above. The recording will be available in ~10 days after the program.

**Please Note for CEC participants: If you are interested in receiving continuing education credits (CECs), you must register and pay for CECs prior to the start of the program (no retroactive CECs will be given) and you must attend the live program. Please review the CEC information below.
