Designed for those who self-identify as LGBTQIA+

Description:
For many of us in the LGBTQIA+ community, finding a place to truly soften, listen, and drop the armor is an act of profound care. How do we protect our peace and stay awake to our lives in a world that often feels intense and fragmented?

Together, we will anchor ourselves in the timeless teachings of the Buddha as outlined in one of the Buddha’s core texts: the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta, also known as the “the Four Foundations of Mindfulness.” By exploring these four areas—mindful awareness of the body, feelings, mind/heart, and the inner patterns that shape our experience —we reclaim our bodies and hearts as a sacred sanctuary.

This day includes guided practices, reflections, time for asking questions, and accessible meditation instructions help you infuse mindfulness directly into our daily lives. Whether you are completely new to meditation or looking to reset your practice in a safe, celebratory, and aligned space, you belong here. Come just as you are!

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
