Description:
We are navigating a world that can often appear fractured with greed, hate, and delusion which calls on us to hold space for both personal and collective peace. Often, we might feel adrift and isolated by systemic causes and conditions that result in suffering. Buddhist teachings recognize that our liberation is inextricably bound to the liberation of all beings. If we are to achieve collective freedom, we must engage in practices openly and include all beings in our circle of love, peace and justice. Our efforts can become a part of our daily practice to create individual and collective sanctuaries.
In this daylong, we will engage in chanting, meditation, ritual and ceremony to invoke collective peace in the world. We will discuss the relevant teachings of Buddha for our times and turn our focus on the wisdom we have honed.
