To request a credit or donate your fees, please email us by the deadline above so we have a record of your cancellation. Credits must be used within one year of their date of issue. Credits cannot be accessed at the door or online.

Program to be held on the land and online!

Description:
Join us for a daylong workshop designed to help you navigate stress and trauma with balance and ease. Led by David Treleaven, PhD, author of the acclaimed book Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, this workshop will deepen your practice by focusing on expanding your window of tolerance—the zone where you can manage experiences most effectively. Through interactive lectures and guided practices, you will gain tools to enhance emotional regulation and resilience. This is an opportunity to enrich your understanding of mindfulness in the face of trauma and to connect with a community dedicated to compassionate practice. Whether you’re seeking to deepen your own practice or to support others more effectively, this workshop promises a transformative experience. Access to Recording

  • A recording will be available for all participants (on-land & online) following the program in approximately 10 days. You will have ~90 days from the original program date to view the recording.

On-Land Attendees

  • The on-land program will take place in the Community Meditation Center (CMC) in the Great Hall.
  • Bring a lunch and a water bottle. Lunch is not provided.
  • This is NOT a residential retreat. Overnight accommodations are not provided.

Important Note for CEC participants: If you are interested in receiving continuing education credits (CECs), you must register and pay for CECs prior to the start of the program (no retroactive CECs will be given) and you must attend the entire program. Please review the CEC information below.

Continuing Education (CE) credit available:

This program offers 4.5 CE credits for $45 for psychologists, and California-licensed MFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, LPCCs, nurses, and chiropractors. Please review our Continuing Education Credit information page to determine if your association or board will accept credits offered by Spirit Rock.****

Teachings are appropriate for health care professionals as well as the general public.

Learning Objectives for participating health care professionals-
At the end of the program you will be better able to:

  • Identify key principles of Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness and how these principles can be applied to enhance patient care by supporting healthcare professionals’ well-being and resilience;
  • Utilize mindfulness practices to expand both your own and your patients’ windows of tolerance, resulting in reduced stress and emotional reactivity, thereby improving patient care through enhanced caregiver presence and calmness;
  • Utilize strategies to enhance emotional regulation and resilience for oneself as well as for patients or clients, leading to reduced compassion fatigue, emotional exhaustion, and professional burnout, improving patient care by fostering a more supportive and empathetic caregiving environment.
