Description:
There’s so much to do. There’s never enough time.

The demands of life only seem to grow, personally and collectively, making it difficult to discern what is truly ours to do—especially when we’re accustomed to figuring it all out in our heads. This daylong retreat will offer space and permission to pause and attend to our weary bodies and distressed nervous systems. We’ll remember that our daily lives—our circumstances, who we are, and all we navigate—is our practice, is the path, is Sacred.

This retreat integrates Dharma teachings, meditation, somatic movement, and yoga asana. Our movement practices will begin with floor-based unwinding to release tension and fatigue, and flow into accessible yoga sequences. Drawing from the Sona Sutta, we’ll explore how attuning to the body lies at the heart of Buddhist practice and offers something both essential and radical for our times.

All abilities and levels of experience are welcome.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
