Cultivating Your Inner North Star with Mindfulness: Inter-relational Practices for Harmony and Well-Being

Description:
This daylong retreat will provide a conceptual framework and practice guidelines for mindful “Indigenous Inter-Relationship” meditation—a way of coming into harmony with ourselves, each other, and the larger world. Indigenous Inter-Relationship meditation focuses on the cultivation of good relations, and the balance that arises from the Indigenous concept of “all my relations.” Our day together will be instructional, experiential, and interactive, as we explore the techniques of mindfulness and Insight Meditation seated in Indigenous stories as a foundation for practice.
