Program to be held on the land and online!

Description:
In this day of practice we will be following the powerful recipe for liberation left to us by the Buddha in the Satipatthana Sutta. He called this method the direct path to liberation. This powerful practice method has been passed down to us in the discourse on the foundations of mindfulness and in commentaries on and refinements of this text drawn from many years of practice insights, including from our venerable teachers in the Burmese lineage, Mingun Sayadaw, Mahasi Sayadaw, Taungpulu Sayadaw, Sayadaw U Pandita, Rina Sircar, and others.

During our time together we will cultivate mindfulness while sitting, walking, standing, and lying down, and, in all activities throughout the day, fostering a seamless continuity of life and practice. Short teachings and clear and progressive meditation instructions will be offered. This is a day of sustained, retreat-like meditation practice, an experiential deep dive. All experience levels are welcome.
