Open to: Self-identified Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color (BIPOC) only
Description:
The kind attention we cultivate in meditation expands our capacity to be with all of life—the uncomfortable as well as the moments that fill us with joy and awe. The Four Foundations of Mindfulness provide a framework to guide our practice, helping us meet each experience with clarity, wisdom, and compassion. Through nurturing awareness of the body, mind, and heart, we build a strong foundation for a deeper understanding of the Dhamma. It is through this foundation that we can embrace discomfort more fully, while simultaneously deepening our ability to experience and share peace.
Join us either in-person or online for this day of silent meditation practice. This silent daylong is open to all self-identified Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color (BIPOC), both experienced and those new to practice.
