Description:
During this day of practice, we will explore the beautiful and timeless art of two mindful movement traditions: Qi Gong and Tai Chi. We will learn about the myriad benefits of these practices, breaking down each step and working closely with the breath and body mechanics. We will also discover how to cultivate inner Qi (sometimes translated as “spirit”) in order to enable a sense of energy flow and ease.
Our time together will explore specific practices, such as the Eight-Piece Brocade Qi Gong and Yang forms, as well as discussion, meditation, and Q&A. Open to all experience levels, including those who have taken a similar program previously.
Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom for you to join us remotely.
Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock, staff, and your fellow practitioners.
