Description:
In this daylong, we’ll take a deep and unique dive into the practice of lovingkindness. While there are many variations on lovingkindness meditation, only a few are typically taught in contemporary practice. During this day we will learn a range of practices, some of which may be new even to experienced practitioners. Approaches we will consider include: using lovingkindness to cultivate concentration and shift our inner narratives; using lovingkindness to address and transform self-hatred and learn to work with difficult emotions; and radiating lovingkindness so that it can be experienced as a luminous facet of awareness itself.

Through lecture, meditation, dialogue, and guided exercises, together we will deepen our understanding, practice, and embodiment of lovingkindness. This retreat is suitable for all levels.
