Description:
This immersive daylong program offers a fresh approach to understanding and nurturing meaningful partnerships through the lens of Buddhist wisdom and contemporary psychology. Rather than pursuing idealized connections or accepting unnecessary struggles, participants will discover the “middle way”—embracing the inherent challenges of intimacy while cultivating deeper connection, presence, and joy.

Throughout the day, we’ll weave together teachings, guided meditations, and interactive exercises that address four essential dimensions of partnership: (1) Deep Listening; (2) Finding Balance; (3) Skillful Conflict; (4) Cultivating Joy.

This daylong is suitable for everyone interested in more conscious partnerships, whether they are exploring romantic partnerships, friendships, or family relationships. Participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in their relationships, including meditation techniques, communication practices, and simple rituals to strengthen connection. While rooted in Buddhist principles, no prior meditation experience is required.

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
