Program to be held on the land only

Description:
This daylong retreat will weave Insight Meditation with the embodied practice of Continuum. One of the core teachings of the Buddha is that we suffer when we hold on to fixed views and identities. Continuum is a somatic practice that uses breath, sound, and fluid movement to dissolve fixed patterns and awaken the body’s innate, fluid intelligence. Together, we will align with the elements—fire, earth, water, air, and space—in our bodies; expanding our inherent belonging to the cycles of the earth, sun, moon, and cosmos.  Within the auspiciousness of Summer Solstice, we will ritually release what is no longer serving and align with our deepest motivation to respond with embodied clarity and compassion to our aching world.

We will practice seated, walking, lying down in stillness and movement meditations both indoors and outdoors. Please bring a lunch, journal, and clothing layers.
