ALL TWEENS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL ARE WELCOME! (11-14 year olds)

Description:
In this five-week series, learn how to meditate, relax deeply, speak your truth, and develop your mind—all while hanging out with other great people your age. Through the practices of mindfulness, we take time to reconnect to ourselves in order to experience peace and compassion. Classes will include movement, community-building games, meditation instruction, and council—a practice of witnessing the group’s collective wisdom. This Spring series is offered to all tweens in Middle School.

Class dates are: April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5; all classes are held on Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm US Pacific Time.

Important Note: Class size is limited to 25 students. Attendance in at least 4 sessions required, including the second session. Video participation is expected as a support for the container, with exceptions for technical or health reasons.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock, staff, and your fellow practitioners.
