Program to be held on the land only
Description:
Spirit Rock warmly invites you to experience our annual Sacred Sounds concert series. Each session will feature a musical artist devoted to creating, honoring, and sharing sacred spiritual music in many exciting forms. Join us for a nourishing and uplifting combination of transformative music in our Great Hall, an optional bring-your-own picnic outside in nature, and an opportunity to gather with saṅgha on our stunning Spirit Rock land. Gates will open two hours before the performance.
Join Zen priest and live-looping artist Yogetsu Akasaka for a meditative sound journey awakening the healing power of your voice. Through breathwork, vocal toning, and 432Hz improvised loops, Yogetsu creates a space where silence and vibration meet. This workshop is not about singing beautifully—it is about listening deeply to the vibration within and discovering how your own hum, tone, or mantra can calm the nervous system, release stored emotions, and open a space of profound stillness often described as emptiness or void in Zen. No experience needed—just an open heart!
Sliding Scale Rates: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.**
