Rooted in Earth-Based Practices, Anchored in Awareness (CC1H26)
Carol Cano, MA and Ayya Santacitta
March 8, 2026
Registration closes at 9:00am (Pacific Time) on March 8, 2026. A waiting list will be created if the program fills early. A recording* will be available following the program.
Description:
In a world of constant change and uncertainty, this half-day of mindfulness practice offers an invitation to return to what is steady and reliable. Drawing from Forest Buddhist teachings and earth-based awareness, we will cultivate a peace that does not depend on conditions. A peace that arises from being fully present, embodied, and grounded.
Through sitting and walking meditation, and periods of silence, we will explore the body as part of the living earth and awareness as a refuge that is always available. Rather than striving for calm, the practice invites us to rest in what already holds us—moment by moment, breath by breath.
This is offered as a time to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the unshakeable peace within our own hearts.
Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.
