Description:
There is no getting through a human life without loss. The question is not whether we will be asked to let go, but how we will meet what must be let go. In this half-day, we’ll explore how practice can help us meet grief, love, and impermanence without turning away. Together we’ll reflect on how to meet both the suffering of the world and the more intimate losses of our own lives with honesty, care, and courage.
This is not about transcending grief or arriving at some perfected acceptance. It’s about what helps us stay open, present, and human when life asks us to let go.
For alumni and current Year to Live folks in the Bay Area, this serves as a long-awaited reunion—a rare opportunity to be together in person! For those curious about the Year to Live journey, it offers a little taste of the practice container and a chance to meet Vinny and Frank—either onsite or online. Join us to reflect more deeply on letting go and on appreciating the life that is here now.
