Program to be held on the land only

Description:
In this day of Insight Meditation practice, you will learn how to cultivate the beautiful quality of mindfulness. Mindful awareness helps you naturally develop clarity, wisdom, and a calm well-being—qualities so essential at this time.

Together we will explore the root causes of stress, anxiety, and fear, and we will learn how Insight practice lays the groundwork for working skillfully with these and other ways we suffer. These foundational Buddhist practices help you navigate life with understanding and compassion, and enable you to access an inner peace and equanimity wherever you are.

Throughout this silent, contemplative day, you will learn various mindful meditation practices as well as lovingkindness and compassion meditations, which allow you to meet challenges with a kind presence. There will be periods of meditation, talks, inquiry, and discussion. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and deepen your understanding of Insight Meditation within a supportive community of like-minded meditators.
