A Benefit for the Spirit Rock Scholarship Fund

Description:
This program is a wonderful opportunity to experience the wisdom of Joseph Goldstein, one of the foremost Vipassanā teachers in the Insight tradition. DaRa Williams, guiding teacher at the Insight Meditation Society, will be in conversation with Joseph to reflect on his teachings over the years, as well as on the evolution and future of Buddhism in the West. The program includes a guided meditation and audience Q&A from the Spirit Rock community. Join us on-land or online!


*Important Notes:

On-Land Attendees

  • Lunch/snacks will not be provided. Eat lunch before you arrive.
  • This is NOT a residential retreat. Overnight accommodations are not provided.

Access to Recording

  • A recording will be available following the program in approximately 10 days. You will have ~90 days from the original program date to view the recording.

On-Land COVID Protocols

  • Proof of Vaccination is Required! As of March 15, 2022, “boosters” are also required. You will be required to present your vaccination card and picture ID at the door to gain admittance. No proof, no admittance.
  • On-site COVID testing: All attendees will take a COVID test. Results available in 10-15 minutes.
  • N95, KN95 or KF94 Masks Required: In accordance with Marin County Public Health mandates, masks are required in all shared indoor spaces. We are requiring the proper wearing of N95, KN95, or KF94 masks, which are proven to better filter aerosolized particles than other masks. We will supply you with an appropriate mask if you do not have one. Masks are not required in outside spaces when physical distancing can be maintained.

Joseph Goldstein is a co-founder and guiding teacher of Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre, Massachusetts.
