Program to be held on the land only

Description:
We invite you to spend a day on the land, resting in the Buddha’s teachings on wisdom and kindness. Together, we will practice cultivating kind awareness that supports us in growing our capacity to meet the joys and challenges of being human. As we learn to steadily meet things as they are, the wisdom of the Dhamma unfolds, and through this cultivation we touch into the possibility of freedom.

The day will include guided sitting and Dhamma reflections and opportunity for walking meditations. The day will be held mostly in silence, with a few intentional moments for community connection and shared reflection.

This retreat is suitable for those new to meditation practice as well as more experienced practitioners. All are welcome.

Sliding Scale Rates: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.**
