Open to: Asian Diaspora Community

Description:
This retreat offers a sacred space to pause and reconnect to the wisdom of our bodies. Grounded in the Buddha’s teachings on the establishment of mindfulness, we will explore what it is to come home to ourselves, each other, and our true nature. Practicing with a blend of still and moving meditation, along with relational inquiries, this retreat offers the opportunity to:

  1. Relax and Reset: Set aside the usual activities and stimulation of daily life to relax and reset the system.
  2. Cultivate self-compassion and acceptance: Gently explore the sensations, emotions, and stories held within the body for healing and wholeness.
  3. Cultivate community and belonging: Connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of navigating the Asian diaspora experience.

Whether you’re new to meditation or have an established practice, this retreat welcomes you. Together, we’ll create a virtual saṅgha, honoring our shared humanity and celebrating the beauty of our diverse Asian identities.

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
