Description:
Imagine what it must have been like to see the Buddha walking through your village 2600 years ago. A living example of freedom and peace in each step. Can we aspire to be such harbingers of peace? When the world needs the healing balm of compassion and wisdom, is it possible that we as a Dharma community can be part of that healing?

What does it mean to live your life from a place of love and peace in your heart? We cultivate the qualities of lovingkindness and compassion in our meditations, but how do we bring them into action? How do we bring the path factors of sīla (ethical conduct) alive in our daily routines? How we live out our practice matters significantly. This daylong retreat is dedicated to awakening our potential to be fully engaged on this path of peace through meditation, contemplation, Dharma talks, and group exploration.
