Program to be held on the land only

Description:
Spirit Rock invites you to experience our annual Sacred Sounds concert series! Each session will feature a musical artist devoted to creating, honoring, and sharing sacred spiritual music in many exciting forms. Join us for a nourishing and uplifting combination of transformative music in our Great Hall, an optional bring-your-own picnic outside in nature, and an opportunity to gather with saṅgha on our stunning Spirit Rock land. Gates will open two hours before the performance.

Melanie DeMore is a vocal activist who uses her voice as a “weapon of mass connection” and believes in the healing power of voices raised together. Melanie has a gift for transforming the raw energy of being human into flowing rhythms and self-empowering awareness, all with a sweet top note of humor and not taking oneself too seriously. She works with everyone, from Baptist to Buddhist, strengthening the web of community. Her mission is to make sure you unlock the key to experiencing yourself in all your glory and return home with the same excitement and passion for living that she herself carries. When she comes your way, her energy will charge the very air you breathe like a meteor shower—so get ready to rise up!

During our time together we will sing, interspersed with silence and breath, sending healing into this tender world like trees transmitting support through their roots. In community, we will create a sacred outlet for release, emotion, connection, and transformation in response to all that is unfolding in our beloved world.
