Prerequisite: Completion of one (or more) 6-night or longer silent, residential or online Insight meditation retreat. If you are new to Nine Bodies, you are also encouraged (but not required) to complete a Nine Bodies introductory program before coming on the retreat.
Description
This retreat offers a potent new approach to Insight Meditation in which we open to enhanced capacities of knowing. After engaging in detailed preliminary practices to help us shift out of reactive tendencies of mind and establish genuine availability and embodiment, we’ll then utilize components of the “Nine Bodies of Consciousness” map to access multiple distinct knowing capacities, including intuitive awareness. This practice method fosters the natural arising of ease, awareness, and insight.
For those new to this practice method, which includes two detailed 60-minute guided meditations each day, we encourage you to get a feel for this practice by listening to guided meditations from our previous retreats. These can be found here.
This retreat will be held in noble silence except for the guided meditations, talks, and teacher-led practice support meetings. This retreat is not recommended for those experiencing acute grief or other strong mental or emotional challenges.
