4 Continuing Education Credits

This program offers CE credits. Please check the program description to confirm license applicability as not all programs offer CE credits for every license. For full provider information, please see our Continuing Education Credit information page: www.spiritrock.org/continuing-education-credit.

Attendance will be tracked automatically and verified as follows:

Live online programs

Sign into Zoom with the same email used to register for the program, before joining the program, to enable proper attendance tracking.

Join the program by a web browser or Zoom App, not dialing in by phone, within the first 15 minutes of the start of the program.

Stay logged in and engaged for the duration of the program.

Non-residential in-person programs

Check in at the CEC table within 15 minutes of the start of the program, each day if multiple days.

Check out at the CEC table at the end of the program, each day if multiple days.

Residential in-person programs

Check in for CEC instructions in the Council House at the beginning of the retreat, during the regular check-in period.

Check in at the CEC table, in the retreat hall foyer, within 5 minutes of the start of each required session. A list of required sessions will be posted with the retreat schedule and available at retreat check-in in the Council House.

Self-paced home study courses

Complete all sections of the course and all assessments.

Attendance is demonstrated through a comprehensive assessment at the end of the course, with a passing criterion of at least 75%. The assessment may be repeated if necessary.

All CEC participants

Submit their professional information within one week of receiving the access link. This link will be emailed within one week after the program concludes to all participants who have met the full attendance requirements. Upon submission, certificates will be automatically generated and emailed.

Certificates of attendance will only be issued to those who meet the attendance requirements and submit their information within the stated timeframe. Please note that only digital certificates are available.

Important Policy Notes

For live programs, CEC registration closes at 4:30 p.m. the business day before the program begins.

For online programs, it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure adequate internet reliability and bandwidth.

Incomplete attendance nullifies CEC eligibility as board regulations prohibit partial credit for partial attendance. Participants cannot join a program late, have gaps in attendance, or leave early and be given “partial credit” for the hours that they were present. Certificates are issued only to those who fulfill the complete attendance requirements—without exception—to maintain compliance with our provider licenses and ensure the continuation of future CEC programs.

Participants with incomplete attendance will not receive a request to submit their professional information and will not be notified of their incomplete status. If a participant does not receive a submission request within one week of the program's conclusion and believes their incomplete attendance to be an error, they must contact Spirit Rock within one week. CEC records are finalized and closed two weeks after the program ends.

There is a $20 fee to reissue a CE certificate, and reissuance is only available to those who met the attendance requirements.

The CEC fee is non-refundable once the program begins, including in cases of incomplete attendance or failure to attend.

7 Accommodations and Food

All attendees should be prepared for the possibility they will be in a shared accommodation and to "accept what is offered" in the spirit of the Buddhist precepts. We have more single rooms than double rooms; however, due to the high number of single-room requests, we cannot honor all requests. Single-room priority is reserved for those with serious medical needs plus a limited number are also reserved for those selecting the Supporter rate which guarantees a single room, if that rate is available. All remaining rooms will be randomly assigned. We gratefully welcome room-share requests!
