Men in the Dharma: Healing, Power, and Liberation (SF1G25)
Sean Oakes, PhD and Enrique Collazo
January 9 - February 6, 2025
Registration will close at 7:00pm (US Pacific Time) prior to the LAST class on February 6, 2025. A waiting list will be created if the program fills early. A recording* will be available following the program.
Open to: Self-identified men
Description:
As the world around us changes rapidly, from climate to culture, the roles we fill as men in our family structures, workplaces, and relationships are also changing. The Dharma offers powerful grounding practices, a set of tools, and a community of peers that can support us to heal, grow, and thrive amid complexity and change.
In these classes, we will learn meditation and mindfulness-based approaches to working with our minds and hearts, connect with and learn from each other in council, and feel the support of brothers on the path of liberation. We will share a mix of silent practice, dialogue, relational mindfulness practices, and community connection. All self-identified men are welcome.
Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.
Class dates are: January 9, January 16, January 23, January 30, and February 6; all classes are held on Thursdays from 7:00pm – 8:300pm US Pacific Time.
