RETREAT TO BE HELD ON THE LAND!

Description:

Join us for a transformative retreat focused on deepening your understanding of mindfulness and insight practice. Through gentle guidance, we will cultivate the supportive qualities of stability & calm, well-being & contentment, and trust & confidence, which will then support the exploration of the Three Characteristics of Existence: the ever-changing nature of life (anicca), the stress and unease that arise from clinging (dukkha), and the realization that what we call “self” is more fluid and ungovernable than we often perceive (anatta). These teachings invite us to see the world with fresh eyes and foster insights that reduce stress and bring ease, fearlessness, and freedom to our lives.

We’ll support our journey with compassion, loving-kindness, and an open heart, allowing us to live in a way that benefits not only ourselves but also those around us. This retreat offers an accessible path for both new and experienced practitioners to deepen their understanding of the mind and heart, fostering greater resilience and connection to the world around us.

Sylvia Boorstein, a beloved long-time Spirit Rock teacher, will join us for short periods throughout the retreat.

This retreat is silent except for teacher-led Q&A, small groups, or other practice meetings.
