Description:
Insight Meditation (vipassanā), traditionally practiced throughout many Asian countries and now widely offered in Western meditation centers, is rooted in mindfulness and the cultivation of loving awareness. In this half-day journey, we will begin to explore the true nature of the mind and heart, laying the foundation for calm, stillness, and the ability to observe the ever-changing flow of our conditioned thoughts. This opening creates space for deeper wisdom, compassion, and a steady, grounded path of practice.

The core teachings offered by the Buddha over 2,600 years ago remain profoundly relevant and essential as we navigate today’s complex and ever-shifting world. Join us for a half-day of practice, reflection, and insight.

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
