Description:
Insight Meditation, or vipassanā, is an accessible yet powerful form of Buddhist practice that emphasizes meditation, mindfulness, lovingkindness, and wise action throughout our lives. The modern vipassanā tradition draws on teachings from the Theravāda Buddhist lineages of Burma, Thailand, and Sri Lanka, and the discourses of the Buddha as preserved in the Pāli Canon. In addition to this foundation, Insight Meditation integrates modern psychology and wisdom teachings from many lineages as supports for our practice.

This cornerstone class series is designed for beginners to Insight Meditation to support you in starting or refreshing your practice. Whether you are just beginning or have been practicing for some time, this class will give you the tools to deepen on your path.

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Class dates are: September 5, September 12, September 19, September 26 and October 3; all classes are held on Friday from 9:00am – 10:30pm US Pacific Time.
