Description:
Life is often complicated and challenging, making it easy to feel lost or disconnected from our spiritual path. However, the Buddha taught that difficult emotions and challenging mental states aren’t obstacles to the Buddhist path to happiness; they are integral parts of it. This two-day meditation and Yoga retreat is designed to guide practitioners through a series of experiential exercises aimed at building courage, resilience, and clarity when dealing with difficult emotions and traditional Buddhist hindrances.

We’ll begin by creating a safe container for practice exploration, focusing on the body to enhance presence, calm the nervous system, and ground ourselves. From this place, we’ll expand our attention to the mind, observing its activities more closely.

The retreat schedule will alternate between Dharma teachings, formal sitting meditation, and guided movement sessions. Our Yoga practice will be adapted to accommodate different bodies and experience levels.
