Description:
The Buddha’s teaching on the four elements of earth, water, fire, and air connects us deeply to the beauty available in the present moment. Through embodied awareness practice with the elements, we learn to see the timeless wisdom of nature, which supports us in staying present with the ups and downs of life. With this profound and ancient teaching of the elements, our equanimity deepens our capacity to meet each moment with care, and peace grows. Our elemental nature reminds us of our interconnectedness with all beings.

Open to both new and experienced practitioners, this half day is offered as a time to slow down and cultivate your mindfulness practice through silent meditation, Dharma reflections, reflective writing, and interpersonal discussion.

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
