Description:
When our heart is torn apart by personal traumas—whether betrayal by our beloved, death of a loved one, or loss of a job—our pain might be magnified by a collective suffering caused by political unrest, climate crisis, and/or racial and social injustices. We may attempt to manage our unknown future with doomsday scrolling or addictive behaviors, but these behaviors are usually ineffective and leave us feeling paralyzed, stuck, and hopeless.

The Buddha taught us that Dharma is the medicine. For over 2500 years, this medicine has effectively lifted and energized our hearts by encouraging us to live in the sacred now, finding hope amid uncertainty and taking informed action. In our ability to choose aliveness in the face an unknown future lies our freedom, resilience, and liberation.

Grounded in science-backed resilience strategies, our time together will include periods of teaching, practice, guided and moving meditation, discussion, and Q&A.

Online Only: We are offering this program online via Zoom.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
