A Path of Healing: The Wisdom of the Somatic and Subtle Body (JS2C25)
Jill Satterfield
September 5 - 26, 2025
Program Dates: September 5 – 26, 2025
Description
Sometimes healing begins not with words but a quiet awareness of what’s happening in the body now. With a few tender, intentionally directed breaths we can transform or cultivate. A flicker of tightness, a contraction, a warmth in the heart. These sensations, often overlooked, are the first whispers of inner awareness the place where stories begin and, if we listen kindly, where they can gently dissolve. The body offers truth in the form of experience: sensations that are impermanent, impersonal, and profoundly alive in the present moment.
The somatic path—healing starts with the body, not as an object to be fixed, but as a living field of intelligence and consciousness. Sensations signal emotions beginning and offer a moment of grace before those emotions harden into stories, beliefs, and patterns. If we ignore them, they crystallize into habits, when we learn to feel what’s here with kindness and curiosity, we reclaim choice.
