Description:
In this 6-week series, learn how to meditate, relax deeply, speak your truth, develop your mind, and integrate healthy use of electronics all while hanging out with other great people your age. Through the practices of mindfulness and Insight Meditation, we will take time to reconnect to ourselves in order to experience more ease, wisdom, and compassion. Classes will include movement, community-building games, meditation instruction, and council—a practice of witnessing the group’s collective wisdom.

*Special Note: If you are 14 years of age, you may feel comfortable applying to the Middle School series. You are welcome to try on the High School session, and if it is not a fit for you let the teacher know at the end of the first session and they can have you registered for the Middle School session.

Important Note: Class size is limited to 25 students. Attendance in at least 4 sessions required, including the second session. Video participation is expected as a support for the container, with exceptions for technical or health reasons.

Class dates: January 26, February 2, February 16, February 23, March 2, & March 9; all classes are held on Sundays from 5:00pm – 6:30pm Pacific Time. Please note that there is no class scheduled on February 9.

Cancellation Policy – Online: Drop-ins, Daylongs, Multiday Programs (1-3 days), Family Programs/Series, CEC fees:

  • NO REFUNDS
  • Open Credit, or Donation to Spirit Rock = if cancel by midnight, the day prior to program start (Pacific Time)
  • No Open Credit = if cancel day of the program, or beyond
