Description:
In this 6-week series, learn how to meditate, relax deeply, speak your truth, develop your mind, and integrate healthy use of electronics all while hanging out with other great people your age. Through the practices of mindfulness and Insight Meditation, we will take time to reconnect to ourselves in order to experience more ease, wisdom, and compassion. Classes will include movement, community-building games, meditation instruction, and council—a practice of witnessing the group’s collective wisdom.
*Special Note: If you are 14 years of age, you may feel comfortable applying to the Middle School series. You are welcome to try on the High School session, if it’s not a fit for you let the teacher know at the end of the first session and they can have you registered for the Middle School session.
