All high schoolers are welcome!*

Description:
In this 6-week series, learn how to meditate, relax deeply, speak your truth, strengthen your mind, and build healthier relationships with electronics—while connecting with other great people your age. Through mindfulness and Insight Meditation, we’ll reconnect to ourselves to cultivate more ease, wisdom, and compassion. Classes include movement, community-building games, meditation instruction, and council (a practice of witnessing the group’s collective wisdom).

Important notes: Class size is limited to 25 students. Attendance at 4+ sessions is required, including session two. Video participation is expected to support the container, with exceptions for technical or health reasons.

*14 year old’s: You’re welcome to try on the High School session, and if it’s not a fit for you let the teacher know at the end of the first session and they’ll help facilitate your transfer to the Middle School session.

Class dates are: April 12, April 19, April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17; all classes are held on Sundays from 4:30pm – 6:00pm US Pacific Time.

Important Note: Class size is limited to 25 students. Attendance in at least 4+ sessions required, including the second session. Video participation is expected as a support for the “practice container” with exceptions for technical or health reasons.

Sliding Scale: Our sliding scale options for this program include financial support for our teachers. Please consider paying at the highest rate that you can afford: your generosity supports the teachers as well as Spirit Rock and your fellow practitioners who need to pay less.
