All high schoolers are welcome!
Description:
In this 6-week series, learn how to meditate, relax deeply, speak your truth, develop your mind, and integrate healthy use of electronics all while hanging out with other great people your age. Through the practices of mindfulness and Insight Meditation, we will take time to reconnect to ourselves in order to experience more ease, wisdom, and compassion. Classes will include movement, community-building games, meditation instruction, and council—a practice of witnessing the group’s collective wisdom.
**If you are 14 years of age, you’re welcome to try on the High School series. If it’s not a fit for you, let the teacher know at the end of the first session, they’ll transfer you to the Middle School session.
Important Note: Class size is limited to 25 students. Attendance in at least 4 sessions required, including the second session. Video participation is expected as a support for the “practice container”, with exceptions for technical or health reasons.
