Vy V. Le
Vy V. Le was raised in a culturally Buddhist Vietnamese family steeped in the compassionate teachings of Kuan Yin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Her devotion to Kuan Yin deeply informs her approach to mindfulness practice and her dedication to fostering a space of compassion, gentleness, and growth for all beings. Vy’s practice is grounded in the belief that compassion and softness, like Kuan Yin’s infinite kindness, is at the heart of all transformation.
Certified through UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center (2016), Vy has been guiding teens, young adults, professionals, healthcare providers, and retirees in integrating mindfulness and compassion into their daily lives. She holds the designation of Certified Mindfulness Teacher (CMT) through the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA) and served as their Program Manager from 2019-2023.
Her training in Focusing, a somatic approach developed by Gene Gendlin, reflects her deep commitment to helping beings listen to their bodies’ wisdom and navigate life’s challenges with heartfulness. Vy facilitated the teen program at Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City (2017-2019), teaches online mindfulness programs at UCLA MARC and eMindful, and mentors teen retreats with Inward Bound Mindfulness Education and Spirit Rock. She currently facilitates teen mental health programs with Healthy Campus.
