Peace Twesigye

Peace Twesigye, first introduced to Buddhist teachings through the writings of Thích Nhất Hạnh about 25 years ago, now serves as the Director of Programming Buddhist Studies and the Thích Nhất Hạnh Program for Engaged Buddhism at Union Theological Seminary. Peace has also taught meditation and Buddhadharma with various meditation and retreat centers in the northeastern United States and in France.

Seeing relationality as central to waking up, as a recognized Insight Dialogue teacher, Peace brings together meditative awareness, Buddhist wisdom, and our relational nature as a path to awakening. Peace is participating in the IMS/Spirit Rock retreat teacher training from 2025-2028.
