Nichol Joy Chase

Nichol Chase is an educator, program architect, and thought leader working at the dynamic intersection of contemplative wisdom, resilience science, and trauma-informed care. With over 15 years of experience designing and facilitating transformational learning experiences, she specializes in equipping professionals and change agents in high-stress environments with integrative, evidence-based tools to support personal and collective well-being.

Nichol’s approach is deeply rooted in both rigorous study and lived embodied wisdom. With early training as a professional opera singer and ballerina, she brings an artistic sensitivity and somatic depth to all she does—infusing her work with a nuanced understanding of the body as a site of both memory and healing. This multidimensional foundation informs her pedagogy, which weaves together science and soul, structure and creativity, personal transformation and systems change.

As Founder and Director of Educational Programming at the Wisdom Building Method School, Nichol leads the development of immersive, trauma-informed curricula that blend somatic experiencing, polyvagal theory, and interpersonal neurobiology with mindfulness, movement, and music-based practices. Her signature offering—a 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training—trains educators, healers, and community leaders to become trauma-conscious facilitators who can hold space for deep inner work while supporting resilience and relational repair.

Nichol’s teaching and program design are informed by extensive experience at the intersection of contemplative practice and social impact. She has collaborated with neuroscientists, psychologists, and contemplative scholars to co-create scalable programs that support frontline professionals—from healthcare workers and educators to climate advocates and leadership teams. Her work reflects a long-standing commitment to bridging inner transformation with outer impact—ensuring that practices of self-awareness, regulation, and compassion are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of diverse communities.

Known for her warm, grounded presence and integrative vision, Nichol is especially skilled at holding complexity with grace—supporting individuals and groups to navigate trauma, uncertainty, and change with greater resilience and coherence. Whether leading a professional training, guiding a circle of practice, or shaping the architecture of an online course, she brings precision, care, and authenticity to every detail.

Nichol is passionate about cultivating learning spaces where healing is relational, where knowledge is lived and embodied, and where people can return to themselves—resourced, restored, and ready to serve.
