Kate Siber
Kate Siber serves as a community dharma leader for the Durango Dharma Center in Southwest Colorado. Immersion in wild nature, embodiment and service have been important gateways to the Dharma for Kate. Kate’s training included the sixth Community Dharma Leader training at Spirit Rock, a multi-year apprenticeship with teacher Erin Treat, and a 10-month dharma leader mentoring program with Erin and Pam Weiss. Kate also works as a freelance magazine journalist, a correspondent for Outside magazine and a children’s book author. Her third nature-based children’s book, The Hidden Wisdom of Animals, will be published in October, 2025. She is grateful for the opportunity to connect with nature regularly, whether it’s hiking, backpacking, skiing, floating down a river, sitting or simply looking at clouds.
