Eleni Monos

Since falling in love with practice two decades ago, Eleni has spent multiple years in intensive silent retreat. In 2023 she completed over a year of continuous retreat and was invited into a four year teacher training by her primary teacher Guy Armstrong. She is gratefully mentored by Guy and other beloved insight teachers including Kamala Masters, Susie Harrington , Sally Armstrong, Winnie Nazarko, Tempel Smith, Steve Armstrong and Brian Lesage . She is an initial member of Sky Mind Retreats, an international leadership and teaching cohort centered on expanding Buddhist teachings in nature https://www.skymindretreats.org and a participant in the 2025-2028 Spirit Rock/IMS teacher training. Eleni is trained as a nurse, serving ten years in the ICU. She also loves poetry, backpacking and bringing the practice out of doors.
