Carolina Bautista-Velez

Carolina Bautista-Vélez is a bilingual educator, facilitator, speaker and founder of CVelez Consulting. With more than two decades of experience in mental health, organizational change, popular education, and social justice, she creates spaces where individuals, communities, and organizations can deepen their capacity for healing, resilience, belonging, and collective transformation.

Drawing from her academic background in clinical psychology, mindfulness, resilience, and community-centered learning, Carolina brings a deeply relational and justice-oriented approach to her work. She is a Certified Teacher, Teacher Trainer, and Mentor in Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as well as a a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (MMTCP), Mindfulness Mentor (MMP), and Individual and Organizational Resiliency Coach.

Her work centers caregivers, helping professionals, and changemakers who are committed to building a more just and inclusive world while tending to their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of their communities. Through facilitation, curriculum development, coaching, and mentorship, she supports resilience, conflict transformation, burnout prevention, collective care, and systems transformation through a social justice lens.
