“This is a seven-night residential meditation retreat for people in recovery from alcoholism, addictions of all kinds, and family-related issues. The Buddha said craving is the cause of suffering. Twelve Step programs work with the deepest forms of craving – our addictions. Join us for a unique meditation retreat combining traditional Buddhist practices with Twelve Step work. Each day there will be periods of silent Insight meditation, mindful walking and eating practices, as well as periods of small group discussion on 12-step topics, lecture and 12-step style meetings. Participants will practice Noble Silence outside of the interactive exercises, discussion periods, meetings and occasional meals. Participants should bring a notebook to write in.”
